Room 7 have been learning about acids and bases. We learnt that pH stands for power of hydrogen. We also learnt that the pH scale goes from 0 to 14 with 1 being very acidic and 14 being a high base. Liquids at either end of the scale can be very damaging to skin etc. Liquids with a pH of 7 are neutral - such as distilled water (water that's been boiled and the condensation collected).
