Rocky Shore Visit

 They Year 5 & 6 team were very lucky to have Emily from the Regional Council lead their rocky shore visit yesterday. 95 students and parent helpers searched the rock pools and found over 22 different types of rock pool creatures. An exciting, fun field trip spent learning more about our local area and how precious it is. Thanks Emily - you were amazing.

Chinese Class

Room 7 students are very fortunate to have a visiting Chinese teacher take lessons. Here they are learning greetings in Chinese along with what everyday life is like in China.

Vertical Horizons Year 5 & 6 Camp 2018

 Well done to all our Year 5 & 6 students. You were amazing at camp - giving everything a go and really challenging yourselves. Proud of you all! Fun times.

Beach Education 2018

Room 7 students were lucky enough to have a fantastic day at Oakura Beach, learning all about how to be safe when out in the surf. A day at the beach always reminds us how lucky we are to live in such a beautiful place.

Enviro Centre Fun

 Room 7 students really enjoyed spending one and a half days in our beautiful enviro centre. Shelter building proved popular along with lots of games, art and written language activities. A great way to spend time in the outdoors.

Fun Run

 Fun times for all today as students took part in the fun run activities organised by our wonderful Year 8 students. Lots of great activities and lots of laughter. Thank you to everyone who helped make the day a success.

Ranfurly Shield

Oakura Students were very fortunate to have Paul Tito visit yesterday with the Ranfurly Shield. All students were very excited to see the shield up close and to hear all about the history of the shield. Thank you very much Paul for a wonderful experience.
