NED Show
Today the whole school took part in the NED show. N stands for never give up - just say not yet, E stands for encourage others so that gives them courage and D stands for do your best. The show involved the use of yo-yos and even had some magic tricks. Everyone really enjoyed the show.
The Amazing Race
Yesterday the Year 6 students from Oakura, Coastal Taranaki and Omata Schools all took part in the Amazing Race. They had to work in teams of 4 or 5 and complete a whole range of tasks. The goal was to get the most challenges correct while having fun and working as a team. One of the activities involved making a paper plane and landing it on the fort. A great day for everyone involved.
